Summer vacation is upon us.
It's time to enjoy the sun and relax. But as a dog owner, it's always a dilemma whether Fido should come along or be looked after.
But let's be honest - vacations are much more fun with your furry friend by your side.
Fortunately, there are plenty of great options for taking your best friend on adventures. We've put together a mini-inspiration list for you:
Vacation rental
The perfect choice. Fortunately, there are many options for bringing your dog to vacation rentals. Some places may charge extra for cleaning, but with most providers, bringing your dog is actually an option.
You can easily search various Facebook groups for travel within Denmark or other destinations.
Roadtrips with our dog
Luckily, it's also easy to bring your dog by car. In many European countries, dogs are very welcome. In places like Germany and Italy, for example, it's easy to bring your dog into restaurants.
Facebook is full of various groups for destinations when traveling with a dog - making it easy to find information or ask for others' experiences with your dream destination.
Hotel or B&B
Many hotels have now opened their doors to us dog owners.
Whereas previously you almost had to sneak your dog in, now many places provide everything from food bowls to snacks in the room. This makes it much easier to bring your best friend to everything from a cozy inn getaway to a luxury stay.
