Very annoying, but we can handle it, we just aren't together like before right now. Mom and Dad think it's her hormones that are messing with her, because she's about to go into her second heat. It wasn't the plan for her to be spayed, but now it's probably the only way out, because she's only mad at me when she's about to go into heat...
Apart from that, we are enjoying the sun and that summer has arrived! It's so nice☀️🐶 I've probably said it before, but I love lying and baking in the sun - then going in and cooling off and back out in the sun again!
But the downside of summer and heat is thunder and lightning🌩 and yes, I must admit that I am still very afraid of thunderstorms, and lately, there have been a lot of them😢
Another downside is that I have a problem with one of my front legs. I lick it so much that it breaks the skin, and when it breaks, it itches and I lick it even more! It's a really vicious cycle😬 Of course I'm told that I'm not allowed to lick it. But because I don't listen, after many attempts with bandages that I peeled off, my mother has now created her own "protective sock"🙄 I'm really tired of it! It's made from an old riding stocking, and it sits around the leg, over the back and then around the other front leg. My mother thinks it's SO smart, I don't really think so, because it stays put! I'd be happy to show you some pictures of the torture sock!
But when I complain about it, Mom says the alternative is a collar around my neck, and then I calm down again - because I hate THAT!
