As I wrote last time, we were going on a trip to Bornholm to visit Hannibal and the "grandparents" because mom and dad were going to a party over there.
It was Bella's first trip to Bornholm and her first boat trip. Everything went really well, Bella didn't make any embarrassing scenes on the ferry and all 3 of us (Bella, Hannibal and I) slept in the bed with mom and dad, so cozy!
Last week summer ended, of course😏 now it's raining and windy. My spots that love the sun seem boring. That rain is not my thing, so I can stay out most of the day, just go for a walk in the morning and in the evening, but not much more than that!
But now to what is most important at the moment; we have a major crisis at home.
Bella has attacked me several times😢
Mom and Dad are really upset, Bella is frustrated and mad at me and I don't understand anything at all!
We have otherwise just become better and better friends and actually have a great time together, we play, dig, do and hunt together! I have to admit I have become quite fond of her.
It all started on Sunday, cousin Hannibal came to visit in the morning (he lives on Bornholm, so he's always there for several days when he comes), all 3 of us had a great time without any problems.
But during the day Bella became terribly aggressive towards me and attacked me several times and bit me violently😢 she only stopped when mom or dad opened her mouth, so she let go of the grip, I just screamed and bit again, but I'm not the kind of person who bites others, so I don't like it at all.
It doesn't seem like Bella likes it either, but like she just "has to" bite me... strange and frustrating.
Anyway, it hurt super bad and I got sores. She wasn't mad at or interested in Hannibal. Since then, they've had to keep us apart or cover Bella up when we're all supposed to be together. Sad and boring, we're usually all together all the time, even at night😴 but she can't control the little one at all.
Mom and Dad's theory is that Bella has reached puberty and her hormones are running high. I'm neutered and Hannibal isn't. So maybe I smell "wrong" and maybe she sees me as a competitor.
Another theory is that because she has become a teenager, she wants to take over the world at home, she is a stubborn little devil.
I don't want to fight about it, but she shouldn't think she can get her way all the time, I also want to be right sometimes.
The strange thing is that she is only mad at me inside the house and out in the garden. When we go for a walk everything is as usual, we chase and dig holes together... she is such a strange little one😈🐶.
Now Hannibal has returned home, so we hope everyone can calm down a bit now.
But as you can probably sense, it's all over the place here at the moment. Hoping for a positive update next time!
